Dr. Peter Oduor is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at Egerton University, Nakuru, Kenya and also a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at The Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from The University of Nairobi, Master of Medicine in Surgery from the same University and a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is a Fellow of the College of Surgeons Of East, Central, And Southern Africa (FCS ECSA). He is a past Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Egerton University and currently the Program Director for the COSECSA Program, Nakuru, Kenya.

Dr. Oduor’s interest are in Reconstructive Surgery with a bias towards trauma reconstruction. He has research interest in Wounds and Wound management. He is currently a reviewer for Annals of African Surgery and the East and Central African Journal of Surgery and has published several papers in peer reviewed journals. He is a Member of the Surgical Society of Kenya, Kenya Society of Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Wound Care Society of Kenya and the Indian Society of Surgery of the Hand.
