The Kenya Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons was registered by the registrar of societies on 10th November 2006. From it's modest beginnings, the society now boasts a membership of 30 registered Plastic Surgeons and Plastic Surgery Trainees. Through KSPRAS, the first Plastic Surgery training program in the region was established at the University of Nairobi. The success of the society has been built on the foundation of unity, collaboration and excellence in clinical practice and research
